I am a tutor who is passionate about learning and teaching. I don't believe we ever stop learning, and I try to take the experience beyond the classroom, educating my students in various aspects of a subject. We don't just stop with a language we are studying, but we try to learn about the people behind the language as well! I love to work with students in teaching them all about the Spanish language, and I take it a step further by immersing them in the culture as well. I believe both subjects complement each other, and make for a richer learning experience. I teach students Spanish, from the beginning level, all the way to advanced. I also work with students in subjects, including American History, Social Studies, English, ESL/ELL, European History, Geography, and IB Language B SL.I graduated from Denison University in Ohio, earning a B.A. in Spanish. While I was in school, I spent time in Valencia, Spain, and I was able to immerse myself in the Spanish culture. After school, I also spent time as a volunteer in the Republic of Panama. I consider both experiences to be life changing. Besides immersing myself in the Spanish language and culture, I love to play sports, and I am on a soccer team. I love to work on my garden, read all kinds of different books, and be with my family.
